My mom voted for Trump but ….

she hates him now

She supported Bernie Sanders and even voted for him in the Texas primary. But we all know Bernie was robbed. She never liked Hillary and neither did I. I didn’t vote for Hillary and neither did she.

Bernie was the first positive candidate we ever supported together. We had signs and I volunteered, made calls, attended and hosted events. He was right on the issues. Sure he was a nice guy but it was all about the issues.

When the democrat party cheated and killed his campaign they lost a lot of people like me and Trump gained a lot like her. She hates him now and I still do too. Neither of us will vote for him this time but the Democrats may not get either of our votes still. She doesn’t really want to vote again and I'm not sure what to do. Hey Democrat Party you lost a lot of people like this and you don’t care. In fact, you did it again.

I miss the good positive times and hope that I shared with my mom. She’s a lot older now and it may be the last time we ever share and feel that again. You killed a lot of dreams democrats and traded them in to keep your piggy bank to continue robbing. Trump, Republicans, Democrats are all killing the American dream we were lied to about and i doubt they’ll ever get it back.
